The Cleansing of the Leper

This is the famous story when Our Lord healed the leper at Capharnaum (Gospel MARK 1:40). It is being told years later by the leper himself to his grandson who excitedly wants to know all the details of his grandfather's miraculous cure at the touch of Our Lord's hand.
He tells his grandson about the miseries of being a leper, shunned and despised by all. One day he overhears some women at the river speaking about Jesus Chris and he is filled with hope. That night he runs away from the leprosy camp to the place where Jesus would be passing to catch a glimpse of Him. Not only does he catch a glimpse but he falls down at the feet of Our Lord who reaches out and cures him instantly.
